An Analysis of Technical Efficiency of Vegetables’ Household Production in Mongolia

Vegetable production is one important agricultural product in crop after wheat and potatoes Mongolia. Currently, household dominates total vegetable (approximately 80 percent). Thus, the purposes of this paper were to measure technical efficiency determine influencing factors inefficiency on Mongolia by using Stochastic frontier analysis (SFA). Primary data was collected from randomly selected 260 households 2019. The empirical result indicated that average sampled 64.6 % (range between 43.2% 99.9%) or they lost about 35.4% potential output due inefficiency. We found land labor are main input household’s production. Also, model, variables age, sex, experience, credit use obtained a negative relationship with other family size, education level, fragmentation index positively affected
